The most modern method of replacing a missing tooth.
The implant replaces the ROOT of the lost tooth. The material from which it is made (titanium or zirconium) is characterized by the fact that these are the only materials that the body treats as its own bone and grows together as permanently as broken parts of the bone grow together.
The so-called implantation procedure:
1. Planning: Requires a very thorough analysis of the conditions in the patient’s oral cavity, performed on the basis of three-dimensional photos of the bone in the place of the planned implantation.
2. Insertion of the implant – the procedure lasts about 30-60 minutes, is completely painless, carried out in highly sterile conditions, which we particularly observe in our office.
3. Reconstruction of the tooth on the implant.
After a period of about 3-6 months, the implant completely fuses with the patient’s bone – which is confirmed radiologically. Then, in the technician’s laboratory, a tooth crown is made. Its shape, depth of color and ability to reflect light faithfully reflect a natural tooth.
