It consists of applying a thin layer of highly aesthetic composite material in a light color to the front teeth (usually on the 10 front teeth from number five to number five). Such material is able to cover tooth discoloration, improve their shape, and even correct minor tooth inclinations, i.e. minor orthodontic defects. The bonding procedure (composite veneers) is performed in ONE visit, while a second visit is NECESSARY (usually after 7 days) to make corrections and final polishing of the surface of the new teeth. The advantage of bonding, i.e. composite veneers, is also the fact that they do not require invasive grinding of the teeth. Sometimes, in order to achieve a better effect, minor corrections in the enamel area may be necessary – the so-called minimally invasive shape correction. The procedure is quick, uncomplicated and does not cause any discomfort to the patient.
Before the procedure, a consultation visit is NECESSARY to assess the appearance of the patient’s teeth, select the appropriate color of composite veneers, assess the possible need for prior teeth whitening, cleaning them from deposits or tartar. All this to achieve the best possible final effect!
